User's notes

I found this moth at night, near the end of her life. I put her safely in a container, to take a picture during the day. In the morning, I found she'd laid hundreds of beige coloured eggs. By evening, they'd turned to this dark colour. My question is - what should I do with the eggs? Where should I put them for the larvae's best chance of survival?

Possibly the best idea for the eggs is to scatter them on the ground beneath gum trees
