User's notes

What looks very chaotic was due to the perspective and was actually very ordered flight. Three long V-shaped formations of the birds flew across lake Burley Griffin, very close to the surface. Several times, each flock dropped briefly into the lake before taking to the air and continuing the search for fish. Over 150 of the birds eventually came together as seen in the final image.
