At this time of the year these Reddish Brown blowflies seem to like sunning themselves in sunlit areas of the handrails in the upper section of ANBG's Rainforest Gully. When disturbed they typically move to another sunlit area so can be followed and photographed. This one is a male. (See sighting 4726411 for comments on the eyes of male/female flies).
