User's notes

The YTB family flew in early for the evening feeding of the chick. The feeding lasted a minute or so each, by both the male (first) then the female - much less time than usual. I have video of the male regurgitating (jerking his head back and forwards), preparing to feed the chick as he sat on the lip of the hollow, then again inside the hollow, before descending, tail first into the hollow. All of this took around a minute after landing at the hollow - it was a very quick visit all round. However, there were vocal SCCs everwhere, then at least 8 gang-gangs noisily arrived to the area. Fourth photo is of mum chasing dad away from the hollow so she could pop in and feed.
