User's notes

The three YTBs flew in, quietly calling, and dad immediately went down into the hollow to feed. After around 4 minutes he emerged, and immediately flew off, followed by mum and their sub-adult. I was intrigued - would they return, as normally the female feeds after the male? I could hear the juvenile begging not too far away, then saw the family float through the sky to Tom 2, where mum chewed loudly on a spout. They all then glided, in a circuitous route, to their hollow again. Mum backed down into the hollow, and the begging and feeding of the chick was audible. Mum chewed on the inside of the hollow (which sounded a bit like a drum). The teenager flew to the hollow, perched, mum emerged and flew away, followed by the rest of the family.
