Cut and cut surface sprayed with glyphosate and mapped with Field Maps. Every year FoMM volunteers remove probably > 100 nettle trees growing on the west slope of Mt Majura from close to Federal Highway in the north to Blue Metal Road in the south, up on the ridges and even close to the summit. The source of this declared noxious weed in the ACT are the Nettle trees along Knox street, the main road in Watson where the tree species was planted as street trees many years ago. So this will be an ongoing issue just like the garden escapes...
