User's notes

I believe it to be Neoboletus erythropus. Same as one photographed last Monday (now dislodged by someone who poked a stick through it). on a lower corner of the track leading from Sanctuary entry to platypus pond. Very striking, and apparently last Monday bandicoots were observed eating some white fungi at this spot, but ignored the bolete.
