User's notes
Monitor was observed for half an hour. It appeared in good health, with some shedding. It crossed the pedestrian path towards the river, and hunted back and forth among the rocks, blackberry vines, and other foliage, eventually climbing a strip of scree and emerging on the pedestrian overbridge. Traffic stopped and it was encouraged back off the road, at which point it crossed the pedestrian path and climbed the slope back towards the dam.
