User's notes

Not sure if this was some type of slime mould or fungus at ANBG. It was seen after the recent heavy rain and comprised a wet mass that was clearly growing on and over leaves, twigs and other debris forming the undergrowth. It had quite obvious filaments and what appeared to be white spherical fruiting bodies. The size can be gauged from the final image. One for the experts. Thanks to Barbara for the initial sighting.

Quite a nicet set of photos showing the very begginings of fruitbody development with plasmodium still present.
