This is one of two quite large, mature Kurrajong trees at this location (ignoring for the moment the sapling of the same species in the foreground). The other large specimens is to the right of the view in the photo. What I find remarkable about this particular tree—and what makes it worth recording—is the large proportion of the mass of the tree embodied in the major branch to the right and its sub-branches
