@HelenCross which is OK if he can tell that you are unafaid of him, as you should be because a human is an extremely dangerous prey for a dingo to antagonise. Even an unarmed, solitary, naked human is 4-6 times more massive;
can wield weapons such as a camera, tripod, backpack, stone or stick;
can grip and hold with two hands and their legs not just their teeth; and
has the intelligence to spring surprises that no kangaroo ever would, such as the things mentioned or climbing a tree and phoning for help.
