User's notes

I believe that different species of skinks are capable of reproduction by laying eggs, by live birth (viviparous), and by a combination of both. I've only seen the egg laying process so far. These images appear to show a recent live birth. The small skink was wet and shiny and there was a wet patch on the adjacent path. The larger adult remained on the path briefly before taking off into the undergrowth followed by the smaller skink. Thanks to Barbara for the initial sighting.
