User's notes

unusual appearance. Tufted, decumbent not erect. Leaf blades longer closer to ground (10-13 cm, 4 mm wide). Ligule a very shor dense ring white hairs(<0.25 mm), no auricles: leaf sheath sparsely fringed cilia. Inflorescence a dense spike (reminiscent of hemarthria), mostly 5-7 cm long: breaking very easily at nodes. Glumes (or was it lemma ?) enclosing single floret.
