A young male with his parents. The last photo was taken almost 3 hours after the earliest ones. They were still sitting on the same branch.

Hi Michael. I couldn't work out what was going on. Many birds fly over here and sometimes land briefly in this tree, but I've never seen any stay in one place for so long. I was also unsure of the age of the young bird. There was a severe hailstorm here the night before this, and I wonder if the young bird had been injured then. It could be why they didn't move on and why the older one was being so attentive to the young one.
