User's notes
First sighting of this species in my backyard for some years. A group of three birds, adult but youngish looking. Birds 'of the year' recently fledged? One bird was marked showing colour-coded bands on the legs: red on the right leg, white on the left. Interestingly. half my backyard now provides suitable feeding habitat for them because the formerly weedy ground cover has been removed and they can forage on more open ground under native trees and shrubs.

They are common in my suburb. I see small groups of them regularly while walking my dogs.
