OK, I know iNaturalist suggests this species, but do we have photographic evidence?

Microdes villosata - Plain larva, dark mark in 'tail' (other species differently marked) Steve Williams has raised this species. See Moths of Victoria Part 3 (2nd ed) CD Microdes villosata Page 3/3

I have looked at that page, but I have an open mind. Where is the dark green mark 2/3 along the larva?

That is an injury or 'spit'

Could well be, but I;m not100% sure.

The originals of those/Steve's pictures in Moths of Vic Part 3 CD was what I was going from. Handled and disturbed caterpillars frequently 'spit' out green liquid (chewed plant material).
