The male was at the hollow entrance and the female was nearby. He seemed to be waiting for her to take her turn, but although she stretched her wings at one point, she didn't move. Eventually, he seemed to get impatient and flew at her with an 'angry' call. He took her sitting place and she retreated to a tree behind.
