Unfortunately, taken by a grey fantail before I could get a better picture

Lucky for the Grey Fantail. It is definitely an Emerald but it is hard to tell from the underside. One of the first decisions depends on if it has a plain green abdomen or a line (yellow/red/cream) running its length on the upperside. I can tell you this is not Prasinocyma semicrocea as that species has a green spot on its head in front of the antennae and between the eyes (your moth has red spot). P. semicrocea has a strong red line then paler fringe (your moth has lovely yellow fringe). P. semicrocea has a a bump/point about halfway along the hindwing fringe (your moth has evenly curved hindwing).

@WendyEM Thank you for the details. I have added an out of focus image of the upper side taken from a distance, I dont know whether it is good enough to help with identification.

Thanks for that. It does have a yellow(?) line down the thorax and abdomen which probably means it is Chlorocoma sp as I had suspected. The yellow colours of the fringe and line around the edge of the wings and the pattern of zig zag lines on the wings suggest it is Chlorocoma melocrossa or a similar species.
