User's notes
The bird was one of several feeding on the ground. It had what initially looked like paint marks on its back, but these turned out to be red and light blue coloured feathers, something we haven't seen before. The bird was very wary of us getting close to it and kept moving about as I tried to change the sun direction to reduce the bright contrast. Thanks to Barbara for the initial sighting.
