User's notes
Many of these were seen adjacent to the streams and rock pools along the trail. In the third image a flower is starting to bloom. I assume the flowers are located on the plant where they present the least risk to pollinators. Also, in the third image there appears to be a small conical shaped snail within one of the traps. This particular plant was close to a rock pool so presumably there are such snails in the area.
