User's notes
I assume, but can't be sure, that this is the same pair seen at a neighbouring site a few days before (sighting 4697292). First two photos from 18 Sept, others from 20 Sept. The birds took turns to enter the hollow while the other watched, and construction noises could occasionally be heard from inside. Both these sites had been investigated by Baldy in previous seasons.
