User's notes
Occasional at side of fire-trail.
Culms: terete, fine (< 1mm diam), nodeless, striate, dark green. Basal sheath chestnut coloured, leaf projecting 5 mm long, opening villous.
Involucral bract short, to 5 mm: much shorter than inflorescence. Glumes chestnut coloured; midrib; obtuse; small ciliate fringe. Style (dead, elongated) is 3-fid.
