Oxychilus alliarus Miller, 1822 Family Oxychilidae. Invasive pest from Europe. Found throughout cooler and wetter parts of southern Australia anywhere there is human habitation and human modified landscapes. Carnivorous, preys on small snails including native species.
SallyandPeter and Trevor Preston, could these images be posted on the 'Snails of Australasia' Facebook group as this is very interesting, I have never seen them in such large numbers before.
