Ardozyga haemaspila ?? I am not totally convinced but better match than A. eumela
https://bold-au.hobern.net/specimens.php?taxid=369543
or alternately Scrobipalpa pyrrhanthes ??
https://bold-au.hobern.net/specimens.php?taxid=369916
especially top 2 green ones

I don't see the appearence of A. emeula represented in this sighting
I don't see a very good match between this sighting and the forewing makings of A. haemaspila as seen on
https://bold-au.hobern.net/specimens.php?taxid=369543
The labial palps look very different between the first two photos and the third photo.
The third photo seems to match quite well with S, pyrranthes, including the labial palps detail. based on
https://bold-au.hobern.net/specimens.php?taxid=369916 , but the palps look different in the first two photos.

I am pretty sure these are photos of the same moth . The first 2 were taken at the same the time - the 3rd one later when I found it dead on the sheet. As there were only a few moths that night it looks to be the same one and there was nothing else like it that I noticed visiting. To me, It doesn't look like Ardozyga haemaspila when I compare with BOLD and the ones on iNat.

If not Scrobipalpa pyrrhanthes, how about Scrobipalpa pyrrhanthesPS1 (whatever PS1 means ??)
https://bold-au.hobern.net/specimen.php?processid=PHLCD2155-12
good eye/head ratio, spiky roughness bottom 1/2 of palps, russet around various spots on forewings

Thanks Wendy - I saw thar when I was trying to find more examples after you left your suggestions, I have no idea what PS1 means either.

The specimen does seem to have forewing pattern (such at is) which is a match to Scrobipalpa pyrrhanthesPS1, so should we subbest Scrobipalpa pyrranthes or Scrobipalpa (genus) as the ID?
