Have added photo of ligule - cannot see any hairs on an upper leaf, but found them on a lower leaf.

This one is very close to the track where we went with Harriette and saw the Weeping Grass and the small patch of Phalaris. Still green, seeds not spread so if you are close by, go get it!

I have it in a bag now. And found hairs at the leaf blade and sheath junction on lower leaves, and hairy base of leaf sheath.
