Cudgrass style weed appears to be taking over the Conservation area. Probably result of long hot summer.

Oh gee...it can be controlled. If someone can, at least take off the seed heads and bag them and bin them. Same for the thistles in the background.

I did have an additional thought. Passed Umbagong Conservation area today and they had done what looked like, a very recent, hopefully, controlled burn. Perhaps that is being planned here for the autumn season. But your suggestion makes more sense to me.
