User's notes
When looking closely at the images there are small brown circular objects on both sides of the leaves (fifth image) and one on the katydid’s leg (fourth image). Roger Farrow has kindly commented on these objects: “The small brown objects are juvenile sessile scale. I’m not sure how one got onto the katydid’s leg as they cannot move.” My thanks to Roger for identification of this unusual sighting.
