Small ants swarming over a small caterpillar. A large one was present that looked like a seed harvesting ant, but this may have been a completely different species.

Hi Trevor, you are right, these are all Pheidole - it is a polymorphic genus, with small ants (minors) and big ants (majors). Cheers, Jon
