I think this likely to be S. liotis due to the black head, dark brown collar (front of thorax) , the white mark on the head between the base on the antennae and the more prominent dot on the hindwing. See second image on LBH at https://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/ster/liotis.html

Attn, moth moderators. We have a redundant 'Scopula (genus)' entry in the Geometridae taxonomy. "Scopula (genus) (A wave moth)" has many sightings, whereas "Scopula (genus) (A Wave moth (Sterrhinae))" has only one sighting. I plan to reclasiify this sighting No. 12112 to the first "Scopula (genus) (A wave moth)" category.
