Under the canopy of native cherry trees; in the past years starting 2020, I broadcasted some weeping grass in the hope to provide competitive ground cover and treat thistles and other nutrient loving herbaceous weeds in the future; the approach worked well in other parts of the drainage line where we first tackled weeds followed by direct seeding of weeping grass; see https://canberra.naturemapr.org/sightings/4555624
