Diplodium tend to have a closed galea with the lateral sepals fused to the petals and dorsal sepals whereas the lateral sepals are free from the petals in Pterostylis. Additionally, the sinus is quite flat in D. decurvum but bulging in P. falcata.

@MattM now after seeing about 50 P. falcata at Nunnock I can clearly see the difference now :)
