I don't think this is monlepta australis - used to have them in huge numbers in Qld and the "red shoulder" is quite pronounced.

@DianneClarke do you think it might even be that the other few sightings in M. Australis here are also M. Juno?

@clarehoneydove I had a quick look this morning and I think they are M. juno which I hadn't seen as a live specimen until a few nights ago and once seen, they are easy to differentiate.

Yes I thought the same and read they are usually found up North..
