Its good to see some leaf beetles reported. I have seen so much fewer this year, literally only one or two in my area. Is it normal for them to fluctuate this much?

@trevorpreston Yes. We did a girl's trip to Tallaganda. It was a late start and quite cool but turned out to be perfect weather for finding insects sitting still on vegetation. I agree that I've found very few leaf beetles around Canberra this season. Not sure why.
