This specimen clearly shows the darker lower section pf the labial palps. Is this a feature of S. typhicola?
This image from the ALA suggests it may be but I'm not sure its definitive.

For severalthe formerly identified records of S. reversella to be re-classofied as S. typhicola than I believe the darker section of the palps should be acceptable for S, typhicola but I'm finding it difficult to see this feature on the BOLD set specimens of S. typhicola.
