Location approximate - but it was along the fence, going up the hill. I don't think this was a hollow being used. Interested in your thoughts @MichaelMulvaney re identification - this male seems to have a white feather on his forehead?

Yes tom's work suggests that feather colours remain across years - he may know this bird
