User's notes

A pair responding to my presence by moving away. I had seen what may have been the male of this pair emerge as a singleton in the open around a week ago.

Con did you see him emerge from a hollow?

No, Michael. I did try to follow what they were up to but saw no evidence of breeding. There are some oldish trees in that area. I suspect the Kookas have a nest hollow somewhere in the vicinity.

Thanks Con

I was out there recording on Sat 21 so decided to check the area. I was there for around 11.30 to 1200. I neither saw nor heard the birds. It is possible that they were sitting quietly and that I missed them. But I did scan all the likely boughs.
