User's notes

has started visiting recently I’ve seen it a few times now, I’m not sure how to tell if it’s an adult female or immature

My field guide says that immature look like the female but third-year and fourth-year males acquire green throat, with fine white spots, streaks; green zone across upperbreast. Bill progressively paler; adult plumage in sixth/seventh year.
