This sighting corresponds with Moths of Victoria description of 'Cleora sp.1' (E.D. Edwards), an undescribed Cleora species similar to but distinct from Cleora illustraria., see the Moths of Vicoria. Part 7 supporting discs for detailed notes distingushing the species. 'Cleora sp. 1' is also described as occuring in NSW. The antennae indicate this is a male. A new species of NatureMapr's Canberra and Southern Tablelands region if confirmed.. Excellent photo. Acknowledgment to WendyEM for the ID suggestion.
