tony_d suggested an ID Genus Minettia (a member of Lauxaniid Flies (Family Lauxaniidae))
"I think by thorax chaetotaxy (ie anterior intra-alar bristle present) - in the old loose Australian sense of genera this would be called Sapromyza, but I think this is undescribed so Minettia for now."
