This moth, to me, seems different to L. sp. nr harmosta.

Ok, the next best I could find is Leptozestis ANIC16 https://bold-au.hobern.net/specimens.php?taxid=372833

Perhaps, I'm not sure. I often find it difficult comparing excellent photos from life, like this one, with set specimens.

white head, thorax & 'shoulders' (black ring on neck 2nd 2 shots is due to photo angle ?, moth tilting head forward?) Dark band basal - antemedial area with (faded yellow in pinned specimen) russet tufts, white medial band with 2 russet tufts near inner margins, small tuft with dark oblong near outer margin, dark brown/grey etc post medial to terminal area with largish dark roundish spot in the centre of the area another in the fringe at the apex, 5 russet/white thorn shaped evenly spaced marks along costa in this area, long upstanding fringe with narrow dark line running around it.
I don't think it is near, I think it is L. harmosta

OK, WendyEM, your detailed comments do suggest it is L. harmosta. The overall pattern fits, although there are still relatively few oblique photos from life online to compare this image with.
If confirmed this is a new species for NatureMapr's Canberra and Southern Tablelands region. Excellent photo.
