This could be Leioproctus platycephalus or Leioproctus wilsoni. Given the rarity of the latter, it would be of interest to confirm its presence at that location. To do that we would need to be able to see how many cells are on the forewing and whether the face has depressed fovea (as in sighting 4404548) or to see a male (as in sighting 4450573). The almost prostrate pea is just the sort of flower that L. wilsoni seems to prefer.
@michael.batley Apologies I do not have a quality camera just my phone but I would welcome any interested party wanting to come take a look at the large patches of native peas and scout for the bees. This is an easily accessible area along a driveway.
