Check the gallery on inaturalist. Sightings will be skewed for Victoria as most observations are mine. They have quite diverse color patterns. They are not uncommon in montane Victoria and well into NSW. Allied to P. lignea, they share the diagnostic feature of coarse interstitial puncturation and (unexpectedly for the 'Chrysophtharta' intra-genus) setose larvae.
