Locally uncommon, it’s unusual to see such a large stand

User's notes

Lovely stand of 100 or so plants, all quite young.

Would be worth keeping an eye out for the Spotted Trident Blue butterfly at this stand - see the record page or the CNM publications page for more info on the butterfly

Will do Michael! Will be back and forth next few months and should be flowers soon. Wonder if the stand is associated with the 2020 fires, they are all quite small.

So the butterflies feed on this species as well as Hakea microcarpa @MichaelMulvaney ?

Not that we know but it is a large patch at the right altitude so I thought I may be worth checking

Thanks
