ANICX1562-11 has the white patches either end of postmedial region. None show banded palps

Looks similar to Tuta absoluta, the Tomato Leafminer, an exotic pest of tomatoes (suggested by iNaturalist).

Or Pycnobathra popularis (Australian Faunal Directory). I'm not sure the palps striping of this specimen matches M. popularis.

I think Ephysteris promptella is likely, but I see few images online to compare it with.

Ian I see what you mean abiout Tuta, which is not suposed to be in Oz, If its in Canberra on a wet night in early spring where there are no tomatoes about, then its everywhere!! Ephysteris promptella looks possible
