User's notes
We were further down the hill when we heard two birds. After a search we found the male sitting quietly as photographed. We believe there may be a spout further along the branch. We did not spot the female. The tree looks barely robust enough to have big hollows. The forest in McLeod's is nearly all regrowth following clearing but this is one of the larger trees. (We saw evidence of ringbarking on an ancient stump).
