Thanks Dixie - about this time of year some Gang-gangs have a pre-dusk roost/get together before flying off in pairs to nearby nesting hollows. Would be very interested if Gang-gangs are regularly coming to your tree at twilight and whether they are departing in pairs and in what direction they are travelling.

Hi Michael- there were around 20 gang gangs in this same spot this evening. When they flew off at dusk they were flying in a direction of between 163 South and 183 South.

Thanks did they pair up or did they fly off as a mob?

They seemed to be pairing off and flying off in dribs and drabs

Thanks great information - south was not the direction I was expecting re previous hollow sightings so perhaps I have been looking in the wrong place
