What are the diagnostic characteristics you're using to separate T. eucalypti from T. fickerti?

I hope @MichaelMulvaney can answer that ;-)

I have been confirming Tamopsis eucalypti if it has the slightly darker uniformly coloured linear marking down the centre of its body separating four depressions. T fickerti seems to have darker markings of multi-colours and extending beyond the central portion - but happy to be corrected - thanks for raising this

Cheers for the information, I've been meaning to go through papers for Tamopsis and looking at the underlining diagnostic characteristics for each of the species with a focus on ones found in Canberra. I'm aware that Tamopsis can be tricky when ID'ing, so I hope it's easier than I've heard and the differences in colours that you've listed are apart of said diagnostic characteristics
