User's notes

In grassy woodland; didn't have the strong wings running down the stems; perhaps a hybrid?

Tapirlord It wasn't A. dealbata which I think I can readily identify. May be a hybrid A. dealbata x A. decurrens. There are a lot of A. decurrens around and, as far as I can id, A parramattensis and A. mearnsii; also we culled a lot of A. baileyana including some large flowering recently. So there's a great pool of hybrid partners if it is a hybrid. There are only few A. dealbata in fact I came across only one A. baileyana x A. dealbata hybrid at a recent woody weed work party. The hybridization potential of wattles makes life really entertaining :-(
