User's notes

A follow-up to sighting 4574040. I’m not sure but have assumed these images are showing part of the reproductive cycle of a Liverwort. The first image shows many black coloured spheres on top of tiny green stalks. The second image is a greater detail showing what appears to be several of the black spheres emerging from their surrounding pods. The third and fourth images shows how the green stalks have turned white and collapsed, and their black coloured spheres have turned brown and split open. The final images show many of the collapsed stalks clumped together and covered in water drops from the falling rain. Thanks to Barbara for the initial sighting.
