I think this scat may be from a deer. Further along the track under powerlines, I took photos of several sets of footprints which did not look like dog prints. I'll add this as a new record. I think this might be a deer scat. Further along the track I photographed footprints which I'll submit as a separate record.

Hi @JenniM thanks for the records. These are macropod droppings but the tracks might be deer (I haven't seen your photos). Sambar have been recorded a few times in Ainslie Majura, and Fallow Deer could easily have invaded the area too. Of the other species with similar looking tracks to deer, you don't have to consider pigs or goats at this time but sheep have been in Ainslie-Majura occasionally in recent times.
